Afghanistan has always been portrayed as the "good war" in contrast to the catastrophe in Iraq. But is it?A public meeting on Monday 13 July, hosted by Media Workers Against the War and Stop the War Coalition, will discuss this issue.
Speakers include prominent journalists Stephen Grey (investigative journalist embedded with British troops in Helmand), Guy Smallman (recently returned from Afghanistan) and Seamus Milne (columnist, the Guardian).
