Haiti Disaster Relief: A Fundraiser @ The Rio Cinema 6th February
Please join us for a special screening of A Charmed Life - a documentary examining the life and times of London resident Eddie Martin Noble (1917-2007). The film gives a historical perspective to the issues around colonisation of the Caribbean. Racism, the colour bar and racial inequality equality in post-war Britain are also covered in this comprehensive analysis of the life of the man that inspired the best-selling novel Small Island by Andrea Levy.
